These meetings aim to help those involved in the regulation, use and care of animals in science to predict, recognise, and reduce or avoid, ‘severe’ suffering. There will be a particular focus at this event around providing guidance, and stimulating discussion, on approaches to avoiding mortality in animals.
Presentations and case study workshops will highlight practical actions to help reduce the number of animals ‘found dead’, and to reduce unpredicted mortality of animals being used in procedures. The meeting will be suitable for all those involved in the regulation, care and use of lab animals including scientists, animal technologists and care staff, veterinarians and Animal Welfare Body or ethics committee members.
There will be NO delegate fee charged for attending. The conference language will be English.
