RSPCA/LASA/LAVA/IAT AWERB-UK 2022 - Induction and Training for AWERB Members

This meeting will focus on improving induction, training and CPD for all AWERB members (not just lay/independent members). Attendees will:

• Analyse training needs for AWERB members and the extent to which they are met
• Consider whether some categories of member have any special training needs.
• Compare the induction, training and CPD provided for all members of AWERBs with the training provided for NHS Research Ethics Committees (RECs) and the RECs that review project proposals for funding by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).

The meeting is aimed at all those involved with the UK AWERB including scientists, animal technologists, lay/independent members, named persons, vets and AWERB chairs. There is a registration fee of £25, which includes lunch and refreshments.
