The NC3Rs today launches a refreshed visual identity and strapline to reflect the changes and evolution of our organisation.
Since launching in 2004 things have moved on, we have grown in terms of our size, influence and accessibility. Our centre is at the forefront of 3Rs research so we need to ensure that our visual identity continually reinforces our strategic direction. Our old visual identity served us well, but it was becoming increasingly difficult to apply across the range of channels we now operate in.
We have not opted for a vast change, since our name is already well known with our key stakeholders. We have updated our logo and introduced a strapline Pioneering Better Science.
We aim for the new visual identity to improve our accessibility, aiding with our awareness raising of the 3Rs principles. It is the first step in a plan for improved engagement with our stakeholders. This year we plan to put a greater focus on public engagement and in 2014 we will launch a new website to mark our 10-year anniversary.
The new logo is now available to download on our logos and branding page.
