Hosted by the Centre for Snakebite Research & Interventions at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, this free online meeting will discuss the the current snake venom lethality murine model, and potential improvements or a new model.

This mini conference will include talks from experts in:

  • Animal models.
  • Snakebite envenoming.
  • Drug regulation.
  • Antivenom manufacture.

The event will finish with a panel discussion on the requirements and development of a model suitable for assessing the next generation of envenoming therapies.
