This annual event from the RSCPA Animals in Science Department is open to all members of an Animal Welfare and Ethical Review Body (AWERB) and anyone involved in animal care and use.

This year's Lay Members' Forum features presentations and discussions on:

  • Ethical review of the use of invertebrates (arthropods) in research.
  • Replacing Animals in Science Strategy – 12 months on.
  • Providing ethical advice.
  • The role of the lay member – local successes and challenges.
