The UKRMP Regenerative Medicine Virtual Conference will take place on 21st and 22nd September 2021 to showcase the strength of the UK in the field and highlight the work of the UK Regenerative Medicine Platform (UKRMP).
UKRMP is comprised of three interdisciplinary and complementary research Hubs, which draw together the major players in regenerative medicine from across the UK to address the key translational challenges and help deliver benefits to patients.
Topics at the conference will include stem cell therapies, endogenous repair, and smart materials, incorporating examples of successful clinical translation. There will also be opportunities to discuss translational challenges and how these can be tackled, and emerging areas and technologies.
A Special Focus Day on Engineering and Physical Sciences in Regenerative Medicine will be held on 28th September 2021 to raise the profile of Engineering & Physical Sciences in regenerative medicine research. Topics will include areas such as robotics, biophysics, mathematical modelling, and manufacturing.
