The University of Strathclyde's annual 3Rs event is open to researchers and animal facility staff at all career stages and institutions. This years' event focuses on best practice in experimental design.
Dr Esther Pearl (Programme Manager – Experimental Design) will be giving a 60 minute interactive workshop on using the Experimental Design Assistant (EDA). The EDA is an online tool for designing rigorous animal experiments that are more likely to produce reliable results, using the fewest number of animals required.
Esther’s workshop will include:
- Tips for using the EDA effectively.
- EDA tools to help implement best practices.
- Time to explore how to use EDA, with live help on hand.
1:1 sessions for dedicated support to use the EDA are available on request, on the morning of 5 December. Please contact esther.pearl@nc3rs.org.uk to express your interest.
Programme
