In vitro models are an important replacement for the use of animals in cancer research. Modelling the tumour microenvironment is key to developing in vitro models that more closely reflect human biology and the clinical situation.

The 3D Model Workshop on day one of the BACR Tumour Microenvironment Meeting will cover:

  • The state-of-the-art in modelling different aspects of the tumour microenvironment.
  • Innovative technologies that can be applied to interrogating the models.
  • Application of such models in translation to the clinic.

There will be opportunities for contributions from the attendees with selected talks from the abstracts, flash poster sessions, poster presentations and a panel discussion when participants can ask questions.

  • Abstract submission deadline: Saturday 1 July.
  • Early bird registration deadline: Monday 31 July.
