In this webinar organised by the US National Institutes of Health Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare (NIH OLAW), NC3Rs Programme Manager for Experimental Design, Dr Esther Pearl, will discuss how the Experimental Design Assistant (EDA) can support robust and reproducible animal research.

The webinar will provide an overview of the EDA and how it can assist research staff and ethical review processes. Esther will discuss:

  • Common issues in experimental design
  • Ways to improve the reproducibility of biomedical research
  • Features of the EDA that assist researchers with critical aspects of experimental design
  • How the EDA can be used as part of the ethical review process

This webinar is tailored to staff working in the US, including Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) members, Institutional Officers, veterinarians, investigators, compliance personnel, animal technicians, and others involved in NIH-funded animal research programmes.

If you are interested in learning more about the EDA but work outside of the US, you can register for the next virtual demonstration of the EDA
